Our best marketing for the Kenwood Cottage is from guests who have a great time and tell others. Here is a sampling of the feedback we've received from our guests over the years. We also have a comment book at the cottage which includes a number of great experiences that our guests have captured and shared for others to enjoy.
We have stayed at many, many home rentals and Kenwood and Kenwood Cottage was, without a doubt, one of the best. Communication and information provided from initial request through arrival and stay were fantastic. The location is perfect - secluded but with easy access to wineries, restaurants, and other towns. And the creek - Ahhhh! What a bonus! The house is so nicely appointed - comfortable beds, spacious living areas, and the best-stocked kitchen we’ve seen. Just so much thought and attention to detail to make our stay wonderful. We would come back again without question.

The Kenwood Cottage is like a slice of heaven in the middle of the wine country. Wish we could have stayed longer! The white jasmines were like the most exquisite perfume bathing the equally exquisite front garden. I couldn't have chosen a better home away from home to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday!

“My thanks for allowing us the opportunity to stay at Kenwood Cottage. The setting was just beautiful and the cottage was immaculate. So close to everything we wanted to do. We enjoyed sitting on the deck, we enjoyed the back yard and we enjoyed the bench down by the creek. Everything worked perfectly and when you say it was stocked, we found everything we needed to prepare a meal. We grilled out, we appreciated coffee down by the creek and it was just an all around great time. Thanks for the winery suggestions too. “

Thank you for this wonderful place for our honeymoon. Silence, nature and a well-maintained cottage made our honeymoon special. I’m sure we’ll come back in the upcoming years to celebrate anniversaries. We couldn’t have picked a better place for our honeymoon.

We had a wonderful time for our annual visit to Sonoma and Napa and the lavender festival at Matanzas Creek winery (only 15 min away). We usually stay in a cottage and Kenwood is our favorite. We hung out on the deck one night and really enjoyed the spaciousness and privacy. We took long walks each morning, one up the hill to Sugar Loaf State Park and once down to Landmark Winery. We'd love to come back!

We are married! What a wonderful setting down by the creek to write our vows. To relax before the most special day of our life and to spend the first night together was incredible here at the cottage. We will surely be back to celebrate our anniversary. Thank you!

We arrived on Monday night from a long drive from down south. Four days of wine tasting and complete relaxation at the Kenwood Cottage. We loved Imagery winery… tasty wines. We made one day a “Napa Day” but were happy to return to the quaintness of Sonoma. Good dining experiences include: “The Red Grape” for pizza, “The Girl and the Fig” for French styling and “El Dorado Kitchen,” all three in the heart of Sonoma. We loved our down time here and are already looking at the calendar deciding on a return visit. Thank you for your hospitality…our honeymoon here was an absolute delight!

We are lucky to be the first guests at the Kenwood Cottage. What a beautiful and relaxing way to spend 2 days. The house is decorated beautifully, the hot tub was private, warm, and inviting. The bubbling creek out the back door lulled us to sleep each night. This place is a little slice of heaven. I just hope I have the good fortune to return someday with the man I love to this paradise.
Thanks for everything. We loved the wine and your attention to details.

What a wonderful way to getaway from our busy lives and spend some much needed R & R and "alone time" together. We arrived here tired, anxious, and left feeling rejuvenated and peaceful. Riding bikes to the local vineyards was our highlight and relaxing in the hot tub soothed our sore muscles. We had some of the best sleep we have gotten in the past 6 months.

We came here to relax and getaway. We both have a very demanding schedules and needed some time together. After staying in this lovely cottage for 2 days, we feel totally rejuvenated. The creek reminded me of the ocean. The cottage provided everything we needed. The in-room services (facial and massages) are a must! The athmosphere here is serene and loving. I was relaxed as soon as we pulled into the drive.
Thank you for making our stay wonderful. All the amenities made us very comfortable. We will be here again! Thank you.

Thank you for inviting us to share your house this weekend. It is truly a lovely cottage... one that could easily be found in the pages of your coffee table book. After many hours of wine tasting, Lisa and I really enjoyed relaxing out back with the sounds of the birds, the creek, and the tree. We can't wait to come back.

Exactly one year ago, my husband was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Needles to say it was an unimaginable year. To celebrate my fourtieth birthday and my husband's returning health, we planned this trip. To be welcomed into this charming, cheery cottage brought me to tears. The lush green trees, the beautifully potted blooms, the sound of the water --- we wished we had one more day here.
Thank you for sharing this space with us.

We truly enjoyed your lovely cottage! The bottle of Kenwood wine was excellent --- thank you for your thoughtfulness. We also enjoyed the hot tub and pleasant evenings on the deck. We ate dinner at the Vineyard Inn and Geyser Smokehouse, but the best food was our daily breakfast at Singletree in Healdsburg (ask for Dolores).
The rest of our days we spent enjoying the fine wines of Dry Creek Valley, Alexander Valley, Russian River Valley, and here in the Valley of the Moon.

I loved it here; I wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you for being so accomodating with our stay. The house is lovely. We felt like we were in a French country villa. The highlight of our stay was seeing the wildflowers at Sugarloaf Ridge State Park.

We spent wonderful days playing with our adult children. We came from Seattle, Denver (our son), and Salt Lake (our daughter). It was wonderful to have such a beautiful setting - the cottage was perfect.
We travelled to Healdsburg, Napa, Santa Rosa, Glen Ellen, and Sonoma - where we had a wonderful dinner at the Girl and the Fig.
Excellent! Running the Adobe Canyon Road was a million miles away from the busy streets. We loved it all
